Ingredients:
- 1 stick unsalted butter (softened)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp Firecracker Farm Three Kings Hot Salt
- 1 to 1½ cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the Dough: In a stand mixer, cream the butter with both sugars until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Add the Dry Stuff: Mix in the flour, baking soda, and Firecracker Farm Hot Salt. Stir until just combined — don’t overmix.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips. Use as many as your soul requires.
- Scoop & Bake: Spoon cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden on the edges and soft in the center.
- Cool & Devour: Let cookies cool slightly (or don’t — you’re in charge here). Serve warm for peak gooeyness.
